DISCIPLINE & CODE OF CONDUCT

Mary Matha School

Discipline is essential for a positive and enriching school experience. Every student must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Respect: Students must show respect toward parents, teachers, peers, school staff, and all members of the society
  • Language Policy: English must be the only medium of communication on campus.
  • Prohibited Behaviour: Bullying, misconduct, and violence of any form are strictly prohibited.
  • Corrective Measures: Disciplinary actions will be applied progressively, starting with written warnings. In serious cases, expulsion may be enforced even without a prior warning.
  • Restricted Items:Sharp objects, Gadgets, mobile phones, and unnecessary objects or valuables of any kind are strictly prohibited.
  • Zero-Tolerance Policy: Immediate dismissal will be enforced for students engaging in chronic disobedience or behaviour that negatively impacts the moral tone of the school. The following are considered severe offenses and will not be tolerated: Repeated use of abusive language, Physical violence, Exam malpractices, Cybercrime involvement, Bullying or ragging, Use or distribution of prohibited substances on school premises or in society
